FIFG Rules Committee

Sean McNamara from Morris Plains, New Jersey joins the FIFG Rules Committee.

Glendale, California. August 25th, 2022.

We want to share with you our excitement announcing the integration of Sean McNamara to the FIFG Rules Committee. He will be working with Javier de Ancizar (Region 2), Leonardo Decaria & Nicolas Pussini (Region 3), and Dennis Kisung Kwon (Region 4).

Sean will be representing the FIFG North American Member Countries (Region 1). He joined the American FootGolf League in 2015. Played his first AFGL events, competing in all four U.S. FootGolf Pro-Ams that year, Miami, FL., Port St. Lucie, FL., Tacoma, WA., and Sacramento, CA. Sean also played in the "historic" 2015 U.S. FootGolf National Championship at Sidney R. Marovitz Golf Course in Chicago.

In 2016 Sean was part of the U.S. National FootGolf Team delegation (Team USA) at the FIFG FootGolf World Cup in Pilar, Argentina, the Pacific FootGolf Cup against Japan at the home course of the AFGL Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, CA. In 2016 he also played in the U.S. Open and U.S. FootGolf National Championship where he managed to finish tied for 3rd. In 2017 and 2018 Sean played in all the major AFGL tournaments including the The US Open and The Nationals. Traveled to Virginia in 2019 for The Nationals again. In 2020 Sean qualified to be a member of The FootGolf Battle of the Border team and competed in all major AFGL Tour events since then, Including in the III Edition of the Jansen Cup as Vice Captain of Team USA in June this year.
