HOSTS & ORGANIZERS
The tournaments of the U.S. Amateur FootGolf Tour (USFGT) can be organized by individuals, clubs, or organizations licensed by the USFGT to organize tour competitions and recreational events in coordination with the USFGT for the 2024 season.
Each organizer must complete and pass a Rules Test in order to host a tournament.
The organizers can also compete in selected tournaments as long as they establish a Tournament Committee with other players and submit that committee list to the USFGT for approval 7 days before tournament registration closes.
The USFGT Event Sanctioning Agreement covers all USFGT B, C, L & P Level events. The following requirements must be met before an event can be sanctioned:
USFGT office pre-approval is required for all B and C Level events to help minimize schedule conflicts.
All Tournament Directors must be a current USFGT member and have successfully completed the USFGT rules exam.
Any outstanding payments due for completed events must be paid in full before submitting a sanctioning agreement for a new event.
