By joining the U.S. Amateur FootGolf Tour (USFGT) you are on your way to playing "The Best Game Ever Invented". Take the steps to compete alongside your friends and peers to see where you rank against like players from all over the country. You will be joining other players of the sport for a fun and competitive round of FootGolf.

Under the official umbrella of the American FootGolf Federation you can be confident that as an amateur player you are learning to play the game right.  
Make sure to review Rules of Play, Dress Code, Tournament Formats, Players Categories and Ranking Points. Take the time to review the rules and guidelines to get confident with playing the sport.  

USFGT Players Licenses expire on December 31st. Memberships received on or after October 1st are extended through the end of the following year. USFGT Players Licenses are non-refundable and non-transferable. By proceeding, you agree to and accept the USFGT terms of use and privacy policy. Tournament Discounts

When you register to compete in the USFGT sanctioned events, you will be able to compete for a $5 discount as compared to non-members. Play a couple of sanctioned events each year and your membership essentially pays for itself.

Track Improvement

Your USFGT player profile page will be updated with your tour points every time you compete in a sanctioned event, which updates your player ranking and index/rating. It shows you how you  compare to others in the sport. Compete more, improve your ranking, index/rating and watch your player points add up for qualifications in USFGT Major Events.

Grow the sport

A portion of your USFGT membership helps the organization fund valuable initiatives that grow our sport at the grassroots level and helps to elevate it to the mainstream. 

As a license player of the U.S. Amateur FootGolf Tour, you will join a group of people who are not only passionate about the sport but also see several benefits from their annual membership. Play, compete and help grow the sport of FootGolf! 

The AFGF sponsors a teaching curriculum for schools and parks and recreation departments so they can teach the sport of FootGolf to kids. Ask about the program and how you can get it into your local school or recreation department's programing.

The USFGT requires an understanding of the BASIC RULES OF FOOTGOLF. 

 

While recommending all players to get familiar with the FIFG Rulebook and with the guidelines of the Federation for International FootGolf.

DRESS CODE

DRESS LIKE A FOOTGOLFER

Proper golf course attire is required and will depend on the rules of the tournament course, therefore FootGolf attire is encouraged. Golf course dress code applies.

The Player Code of Conduct is a set of guidelines for professional and amateur footgolfers to follow throughout the AFGL Tour and USFGT tournament season and into the future. To see the Player Code of Conduct visit the following link Here

The USFGT reserves the right of admission and may refuse or cancel any player's affiliation at any time for any reason.

USFGT PLAYER

CATEGORIES

Players from different categories might not play from the same tee boxes.

There is no General or Absolute Category in the USFGT.

MEN: Men born in 2006 or earlier.

WOMEN: Women born in 2006 or earlier

SENIORS: Men born in 1978 or earlier.

PAIRS: Players from different categories might form a Pair.
