INDEPENDENCE COURSE
Designed by Tom Watson
With wide-open greens, rolling fairways, and strategically-placed bunkers, the Independence Golf Course designed by Tom Watson calls for well-calculated golf that puts a premium on a solid short game. The FootGolf Courses are being designed by AFGL for long and short game.
The Nationals 2025 will feature three 18-hole FootGolf courses:
"Tom" Course: 18 FootGolf holes on the Front Nine of Independence Golf Course
"Watson" Course: 18 FootGolf holes on the Back Nine of Independence Golf Course
"The Nationals" Course: 18 FootGolf holes designed along Independence Course
The U.S. National FootGolf Championship 2025 will feature a unique format where all individual categories will play the three courses at some point, and notably, there are no cuts during multi-day competitions. Therefore, the Final Round will be played on The Nationals course, combining selected holes from both courses, with all categories playing the same course layout from their assigned category tees.
Schedules and designs for all three courses are subject to daily changes.
